I’ve known Doug for several years, and from Day 1, he had my respect. Not just in how he presents himself to the world, or the numerous accomplishments he has made for himself, his family and his business… but his willingness to be completely raw. To be open, compassionate, encouraging and the swift boot to the ass when I needed it. Doug was there when my marriage fell apart. He witnessed my pain. My sadness. My regret. My anger. My sedation with alcohol. My unwillingness to face my own inner demons and do the work necessary to rebuild my life and become the man God made me to be. He didn’t give up on me and he refused to let me give up on myself. That’s because he has been there himself. He’s been in the pit… in the dark recesses of his mind. He knows that darkness. He’s not on some soapbox. He’s linked arm-in-arm with me… helping me work through life with his shared experiences, love, perspective and friendship. I couldn’t recommend anyone more as both a friend and a brother than Doug!

Not all hero’s wear capes and Doug is exactly that. Doug approached me, knowing that the knowledge he has could potentially help me out, and that’s what happened. Doug has been the mentour I needed and with the judgment free atmosphere he is very easy to speak to. Could not ask for a better coach to help me be a better MAN.

I have known Doug since we both started the Warrior Challenge in Jan of 21. I have watched us both rise and fall and now starting to rise again. This time I have Doug as my coach, he was born to do this. He is honest, even when I don’t want to hear it, he is genuine in his desire to help me grow and he is transparent in his own challenges.
